Dr. P V Siva Prasad is the Chief Cardiologist at Sentini Hospitals, Vijayawada. He has experience in providing Intensive and Emergency Cardiac care and dealing with complex Coronary Interventions. Dr. Siva Prasad has a total of ten years of Clinical and Interventional Cardiology experience (DM and post-DM), during which he developed a keen interest in structural heart diseases.
Dr. Siva Prasad has performed over 15,000 Cardiac Catheterisation procedures during his tenure at Sentini in the past two years. These include Femoral (elective and primary) and Radial Angioplasties, PBMVs, PBPVs, Pacemaker Implantations, Device Closures and Peripheral Interventions. He is experienced in performing Radial, Ulnar and Femoral Coronary Angiograms. Dr. Siva Prasad is also well versed with Paediatric Echocardiograms and Paediatric Catheterisation procedures.
Prior to his current post at Sentini Hospitals, Dr. Siva Prasad was Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Cardiology at Katuri Medical College in Guntur (2009-11). Prior to this, he completed his medical studies at Guntur Medical College (MBBS), Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam (MD General Medicine), and Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences, Tirupati (DM Cardiology).

Impact of his talk resulted in the enrollment of doctors club on the next day .We were surprised to know his influence on young minds. Almost all the students who registered their names expressed that they wish to become cardiologists in future.
